Days Out With Kids – Great Adventure Travel Place for Kids

London offers a wide variety of theme parks, palaces, zoos, mini trips to the seaside and other interesting outdoor adventures. Moreover, kids love to explore new things and spending a day in one of the places listed below will make their day.

#1: Legoland Windsor

This adventure theme park which is located in the Berkshire countryside offers some amazing attractions. The Duplo Valley Splash and Playhouse the Drench Towers water play structure and is a favorite among kids of all ages. Recently, the park has also added a Lego-themed hotel with 150 rooms that offer themed accommodation. Another addition is the ‘Atlantis Submarine Voyage’, where visitors ride an underwater vehicle submerged in one million-litre tank to witness live sharks and stingrays swimming along with Lego mermaids.


#2: Chessington World of Adventures and Zoo

The zoo which opened in 1931 is still a popular destination. Besides other small animals, the zoo is home to ten gorillas, two tigers, two lions and a family of leopards. The Chessington World of Adventures also offers several rides perfect for families with young children.



#3: Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park features many rides which are meant for teens and older children. Parents with young children can paddle around at Neptune’s Beach or take mini friendly rides at the Octopus Garden. Teenagers and older children will also have a thrilling experience at the horror-themed white-knuckler saw and the spiraling water drop raft ride of Storm Surge.


#4: Go Ape

Go Ape offers a unique experience where you can monkey around on treetops. Located in Britain’s woods and forests, the high rope courses at Go Ape centers is ideal for those teens (height and weight restrictions apply) who are looking for adrenaline-packed aerial adventures. These Go Ape centers have rope bridges, trapezes, and zip slides where families can swing, scramble, climb and slide to their hearts’ content. You will be fitted with safety harnesses, so even if you don’t have the gripping skills of an ape, you will still have a fun-filled experience.


#5: Winnie-The-Pooh Walks in Ashdown Forest

If your kid is a fan of Winnie the Pooh fan, then look no further. Ashdown Forest, which inspired AA Milne to create Winnie-the-Pooh, offers two Winnie-the-Pooh walks where you can set out on an expedition to find the North Pole, the Heffalump Trap and Lone Pine, Roo’s Sandy Pit, and more, just like Winnie and his friends did!


#6: Diggerland

This is a real treat for children whose wish is to drive a vehicle or controlling a digger. Diggerland, which is set on the earth barrow in Kent, offers giant machines, dirt diggers and a sky shuttle to. Certain attractions at Diggerland have height restrictions; however, younger children can drive mini Land rovers, mini tractors, mini dumper trucks, and dodgems.
