Just like Christmas, Easter is once-in-365 days celebration and no wonder, we all wait for it with excitement and anticipation. So what if you are hosting that very special Easter party this time? Of course, the celebration is incomplete without the bunnies, chicks, vibrantly colored eggs, egg hunts and of course, chocolates! However, you might have your own way and style of celebrating. But don’t you think that there’s always sufficient time for improvement? A few hints might make your event the ‘party of the year’. . .
#1: Think About The Decorations
Want to bring the finest impact in your party? Get out of the comfort of your room and choose your garden for the venue. There can be hardly a better option than flowers to decorate, let’s say, any venue, be it on any occasion. And what if you do not have a garden? Then your backyard can come to your rescue. What about purchasing some and decorating them all around your party space? It will impart a fresh spring look, for sure.
Additionally, you can also consider bringing along dyed and decorated eggs (kids can help you in this regard). Keep the eggs in cute egg bowls on each of the tables. Also, keep some un-painted eggs handy to let your young guests have their share of fun.
#2: Fix The Menu
When it comes to hosting a party, the food is something that you cannot think beyond. Whether you are arranging an adult party, or kids party, or simply a family party, the bottom line remains same- your guests will negotiate for nothing less than delicious foods! Make sure to keep a lot of snacks and finger foods hungry, so can kids can happily much on them and adults enjoy them while socializing. There should be fun drinks also. Talking of snacks, you can choose from assorted sliced breads, fruit kabobs, chips, salsa, vegetable platters, croissant sandwiches, pita with hummus, artichoke dip and the like. So far the main course is concerned, you can either go for a traditional Easter menu or choose something experimental, such as oriental dishes perhaps?
#3: Entertainment for kids
While children love painting Easter eggs, you can also direct them to create Easter chicks to boost their creativity. It’s very easy to create them, as a matter of fact. Get both large and small sized yellow pompoms, orange foam paper, googly eyes, black pipe cleaners, scissors and glue. The small pompoms should be glued with the larger ones. You can help them make the ‘beak’ by cutting the foam paper into triangle, and fixing it on the midst of the smaller pompom. then the eyes should be ‘fixed’ on the ‘nose; area of the tinier pompom. Next, ask the kids to cut and twist the pipe cleaners, so that they resemble chick feet.
#4: Entertainment for all
There should be something that both children and adults can equally enjoy. What about going for a vintage photo booth so that you can provide superb entertainment, great time pass and loads of happy memories for your guests to take back home, all simultaneously? What is more, you know that most of the standard photo booth agencies offer their services at competitive rates; so there is no question of getting a dent in your pocket.
#5: The Egg Hunt!
You knew that you can’t get over it. Make sure that you do a headcount well in advance. Make sure that there is sufficient number of eggs for all. Think creatively about the gift stuffs’. Of course, hide the eggs much before your party starts! And when it comes to spreading sweetness with candies, make sure that you offer a variety of stuffs to suit all tastes.
